Current operation and future collaboration
KaraokeAssist is currently developed and operated independently. It is not an official product of USKA, IKF, or another competition organization today. Future collaboration may support official rules, event information, or related services while KaraokeAssist continues to manage the competitor-preparation experience.
Non-commercial service
KaraokeAssist is a permanent non-commercial community project. Singers are not charged for access, and the service does not use subscriptions, paid upgrades, advertising, sponsored rankings, or data sales. Access, features, quotas, and availability may still be limited to protect privacy, safety, legitimate competition purpose, service quality, and finite operating capacity. Feature labels such as Companion Pro describe authorized preparation scope and do not indicate a paid plan or upgrade.
Encrypted Competitor Vault
Private preparation is stored in a participant-controlled encrypted Competitor Vault. KaraokeAssist does not retain the content key or a readable server-side copy. Account admission, authorization, identity review, security records, and public competition information remain separate from the vault. ChatGPT sign-in identifies the invited account but does not decrypt the vault.
You are responsible for protecting the vault unlock and recovery information provided by the product. Because KaraokeAssist does not retain the key, it cannot open the vault or recover its contents for you.
Competition decisions
KaraokeAssist provides research, historical context, planning tools, and evidence-supported eligibility information. It is not a competition official, judge, coach, or substitute for current event instructions. Official rules, event staff, and competition decisions control whenever they differ from information shown here.
AI-generated assistance
Ask Companion uses OpenAI's Responses API to organize and explain authorized KaraokeAssist context. After the vault is unlocked, the participant's connected preparation record is available inside that browser session. For each question, the service may assemble and send the working context needed for that response in stages or a focused set. The exchange is not retained in a readable server-side conversation store.
Companion answers can be incomplete or mistaken. Treat them as preparation assistance, check displayed source details and verification status, and verify time-sensitive requirements with official sources and competition staff.
No predictions or guarantees
Competition history is presented as context. KaraokeAssist does not promise that a song will win, predict placements, provide gambling odds, or guarantee eligibility, scoring, availability, or results.
Alpha availability and accuracy
The invitation-only service is under active development. Features, coverage, and access may change, and some information may be incomplete or require verification. KaraokeAssist should not be your only source for a deadline, rule, eligibility requirement, track approval, or other time-sensitive competition decision.
Your use of the service
You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to access another person's private information, evade access controls, interfere with operation, or use KaraokeAssist to harass, profile, or harm singers. You remain responsible for the information you submit and for your own repertoire and performance decisions.
You also agree not to seek, expose, defeat, or interfere with another participant's encrypted vault or unlock process.
Saved content and third-party material
You remain responsible for notes and other material you place in your Competitor Vault. You authorize the processing needed when you deliberately use a feature such as Ask Companion, but you do not transfer ownership of your private preparation to KaraokeAssist. Song titles, recordings, competition material, and linked sources may belong to their respective owners; their appearance does not transfer ownership or imply endorsement.
Service limits
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the alpha service is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability or error-free information. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
